Utia Sole is a traditional mountain hut in the heart of the Dolomites, in Selva di Val Gardena, South Tyrol, on the ski slope Falck close to the Sella Pass and Piz Sella and beneath the impressive Sassolungo, facing the Sella massif.
In winter, it lies within the Dolomiti Superski area, directly on the famous Sellaronda - perfect for skiers looking for a cosy stop during their day on the slopes.
In summer, the alpine mountain hut and restaurant is a rewarding destination for hikers and mountain bikers, reachable on foot or via the Plan de Gralba-Sella Pass / Sassolungo Bike Park trail.
The kitchen focuses on regional ingredients, including meat and dairy from the owners’ own farm, offering classics of South Tyrolean and Ladin cuisine, from dumplings to homemade desserts and hearty dishes.
It’s ideal for those who want good food, mountain nature and genuine hospitality in a warm, family-run setting. Open all year.
