Where is Alta Badia? The Alta Badia ski resort is located in the Val Badia, which extends from the Sella Group to the Pusteria Valley. We are here in the midst of the breathtaking mountains of the Dolomites, a wonderful holiday area in South Tyrol in the north-east region of Italy.
Wintersport in the Alta Badia ski resort: there are 53 ski lifts, 130 km of ski runs and 40 km of cross-country slopes.
The famous "Gran Risa" ski run can be found in La Villa, well-known for its World Cup Slalom race, the Men’s Giant Slalom and Men’s Slalom on the 20 and 21 December 2026. The lovely Valley of the "Stella Alpina / Edelweisstal" can be reached from the village of Colfosco and you can admire the breathtaking view of the Valley of Mezdi. From here you can start a magnificent all-day ski tour via San Cassiano to Lagazuoi.
The Sellaronda ski circuit also takes you to the villages Corvara and Colfosco ski resort and you can easily reach the adjacent valleys.
With the Skipass Dolomiti Superski you have access to all lift facilities in the Dolomites with 500 km interconnected ski slopes surrounding the Sella Group and a total of 1220 km slopes in 12 zones.
