The green Sellaronda ski circuit if you go counterclockwise

The green Sellaronda is the counterclockwise ski route around the Sella Group, crossing 4 famous Dolomite passes: Sella Pass, Pordoi, Campolongo and Gardena Pass and connecting 5 ski resorts directly on the route: Selva Val Gardena, Colfosco, Corvara, Arabba and Lupo Bianco in the Dolomites.
- In winter you can experience the legendary Sellaronda ski route on perfectly groomed slopes and with state-of-the-art lifts.
- In summer, the loop around the Sella massif transforms into a cycling adventure: spectacular mountain roads, mountainbike-trails and singletracks, with the option to use cable cars, gondolas and chairlifts. Motorcyclists and drivers also consider the panoramic tour over the Dolomite passes as one of the most popular routes in South Tyrol and the neighboring provinces of Trentino and Belluno.
On our interactive map above, you can explore the detailed route of the Sellaronda, including ski slopes, lift facilities, cozy accommodations and recommended restaurants along the way.

Brief summary of the Sellaronda Green (Селла ронда) starting from Val Gardena and going counterclockwise:

We begin the ski route in Selva Val Gardena, skiing the route counterclockwise.
Our route starts with the Ciampinoi cable car which takes us up to the Ciampinoi mountain. From here, there are two scenic options to descend towards Plan de Gralba:
- Ski slope Ciampinoi No. 5 - a steeper and more challenging run that passes the Baita Vallongia. A few hundred meters before the hut, a connecting slope links over to Ciampinoi No. 6.
- Ski slope Ciampinoi No. 6 - an easier and less crowded piste, passing by the rustic Ciadinat alpine hut.
At Plan de Gralba, we continue with the modern Piz Seteur cable car. At the mid-station, you may also exit and enjoy a pleasant ski run back down to the valley station of the Piz Seteur lift.

Now we can choose between several ski runs:
- We take the short but steep ski descent immediately to the left, down to the Gran Paradiso chairlift, which brings us up to the Città dei Sassi (City of Stones). If you have time, I highly recommend skiing the Gran Paradiso slope once or twice.
- We continue straight towards Piz Seteur and then turn right, skiing down to the Città dei Sassi chairlift, which also leads us to the spectacular Stone City towards the Sella Pass.
- If time allows, it’s worth skiing the slopes served by the Comici I and Comici II chairlifts, as well as the Sotsaslong slope - both areas feature large and fun snow parks.
Arriving in the Città dei Sassi, we take a flat connecting path through trees and rocks to the Sella Pass and the Sasso Levante chairlift.

After the ascent with the Sasso Levante lift, we ski down into the Salei Valley to reach the Pian Frataces Gherdecia cable car No. 105 at Lupo Bianco. The 6-seater chairlift Sas Becè No. 107 takes us up to the Sas Becè hut.
From Belvedere, we descend on the long slope to the Alpenrose lift No. 127, and from there enjoy the final run almost down to the village. With the connecting Arabba Fly chairlift No. 8, we cross to the other side of the village and continue with the Burz chairlift No. 5 to Bec de Roces. The Le Pale chairlift No. 5 then takes us up to the Campolongo Pass. From here, the Costoratta chairlift brings us to Crëp de Mont, followed by a relaxing descent down to Corvara.
The Borest gondola and Sodlisia chairlift take us to Colfosco. From here, the comfortable Plans cable car quickly brings us to the Jimmi Hut, just above the Gardena Pass.
After a short descent, we take the Val Setus chairlift, which climbs to 2,280 m, then ski down to the Gardena Pass and take the final Cir lift up to Dantercëpies. The last descent leads us back into Selva Gardena.
At the end of the ski slope, a short underpass beside the Dantercëpies cable car leads to the children’s slope, where you turn left halfway down to reach the village center. Once in the village, we remove our skis and cross the road to the Ciampinoi cable car.
You have covered 15.705 metres on ski lifts and you have skied 22.950 metres of ski runs in the ski areas of South Tyrol / Alto Adige, Trentino and Belluno. Total. 38 kilometres and 655 m. What a performance!
