Information for Your Holiday in S. Cristina
The ski village Santa Cristina is located in Val Gardena in the Dolomites mountains in Italy (Europe). Experts skiers can find a variety of ski slopes to explore at Seceda and Col Raiser, while both beginners and experts can explore Monte Pana. The Santa Cristina ski resort is located in the middle of the Val Gardena between Ortisei ( Urtijëi ) and Selva di Val Gardena and extends from 1250 m to 3179 m high mountain peaks. The centre of the village lies at 1428 m above sea level.
The nearby village of Ortisei is also reachable by the skis and ski lifts of Col Raiser and Seceda. Selva Gardena and the Sellaronda can be reached via the Sochers cable car and chairlift or via the Monte Pana, Mont Seura and Tramans chairlifts.
For those who want to do something different than skiing, the place is also suitable for walking. In summer, Seceda and Col Raiser are ideal for hiking, climbing and mountain biking.
Another highlight is the Monte Pana, which delights with its breathtaking views over the Dolomites and in winter with the practice ski slopes for children. From here, mountain bike rides at Alpe di Siusi, Val Duron, Ortisei, Passo Sella and Selva can be undertaken in summer.
Whether you choose a holiday in a hotel, wellness hotel, family hotel, family pension, holiday apartment, chalet, garni or bed and breakfast, here you will find everything your heart desires.
