The Val d'Ega (in german: Eggental) lies to the east of the capital of the province of South Tyrol. The ski resorts of Obereggen, with 49 km of ski slopes and 18 lifts and Carezza, with 40 km of ski slopes and 13 lifts can be reached in less than 20 minutes from Bolzano. The ski slopes are nestled between Rosengarten and Latemar.

In winter, the valley also offers 80 km of cross-country ski trails, groomed winter hiking trails and snowshoe tours as well as 3 toboggan runs. Not only in winter, but also in summer and fall, you can enjoy a well-deserved vacation here. In the warmer seasons, this holiday area in the Dolomites offers many hiking opportunities, mountain bike tours, via ferrata and 2 golf courses.
