The holiday region "Plan de Corones" is located in the northeastern part of South Tyrol and extends from the west of the Val Pusteria, Val d'Anterselva and Val Casies to the far south of the Val Badia.
The Plan de Corones gives the name of this region, is the home mountain of the medieval town of Brunico, is located at 2275 m altitude and on the edge of the Dolomites between Brunico, San Vigilio di Marebbe and Valdaora and offers 119 km of ski slopes and 32 modern ski lifts, part of the Dolomiti Superski.
On the plateau of the mountain, the three municipalities of Brunico, Marebbe and Valdaora border each other. In summer, the Kronplatz acts as an adventure park with mountain bike and walking trails, museums and a children’s adventure world.
