The Valley of Isarco extends from Bolzano to the Brenner Pass. It is well worth visiting especially the Episcopal city of Bressanone and the Convent of Novacella, the small town of Chiusa with the lovely Convent of Sabione perched over this town and the town of Vipiteno several kilometers north towards the Brenner Pass. The ski areas of the Plose, Jochtal, Gitschberg, Velturno and the Valley of Funes can be found along the Valley of Isarco. There are 31 ski lifts and 85 km of ski runs aswell as 200 km of cross country runs. |
